This is my favorite necklace in this line. It's a great depiction of Ganesha. Its a beautiful white cubic zirconia-encrusted figure of Ganesha, the Hindu God of Beginnings and Remover of Obstacles. The dainty 1-1/4 x 3/4 inch pendant gracefully dangles from a delicate14kt gold filled chain and secures with a round ball magnetic clasp in gold adorned with sparkling white cubic zirconias.

For individuals who find dealing with small clasps challenging, the magnetic clasp ensures effortless slipping into and removing the necklace. The metal used contains no lead or harmful ingredients.

The 18" 14kt gold-filled chain is light but sturdy. It will not tarnish as gold colored chains will (as I found out the hard way), so I upgraded and used it for this fabulous pendant. (I test all my new chains to make sure they hold up to at least a few weeks of constant wear.) This necklace runs more expensive because of this, pricing reflects the cost of 14kt gold filled.

I would be careful with the pendant and not get it wet. I replaced the gold colored chain with 14kt gold filled because chain wears harder than pendants and the chain should be durable, but this piece is still costume jewelry and tarnishing is expected on the Ganesh pendant if it is subjected to water or chemicals.

Each necklace comes elegantly packaged in a windowed box.
