This mug features a tarot card, The Moon XVIII.This design is from a tarot deck I've created entitled Chain of Life Tarot comprised of vintage photographic imagery altered, collaged, stacked and reassembled in Photoshop to make new original pieces.

This is the Moon, a card that tells us it is time to trust our intuition rather than relying on mere facts. The moon changes faces nightly. This card warns us about the duplicity of a situation or person we must deal with who is not what it or they seem. This design is also a depiction of the Moon as the Mother.

This is one of those designs that comes together almost as though it was meant to be. I originally came across a vintage postcard of a maiden holding a staff . I envisioned her with a half moon lantern lamp hanging from her staff and mirroring her image in the other direction with a full moon shining behind the two maidens. The face of the wolf that materialized from the combination of these images is nothing but sheer magic.

The background is various vintage (some of it ancient) astrological and astronomical imagery collaged together.The side of the mug has the title of the tarot deck "Chain of Life Tarot."

This mug comes in a white box suitable for gifting.
